Welcome everyone! My art represents what I believe is the next step in the eventualities of graphical evolution... in other words, I believe that I am helping the cause, piece by piece, to break us out of the horrid Window's default graphics world we liv

Everyone who I've upset, I'm sorry. Recently there has been some weird vibes between those who use Bryce, and those who are sick of the lack of moderation of these images.

I expressed my opinions, but they were taken harshly, especially by the moderators, and for that, I apologize. I never meant what I said to hit anyone at home. I was only expressing my opinions. Please, anyone who I upset, forgive me.

As a result of my comments, one of my walls, which had an opening rating of 8, was removed by someone, after slipping to a 3 (despite the wall being good, and having 300+ downloads in less that 5 hours). So I hope things can return to the way they were.

I respect all of you, and all of your work. We may have different styles of work, but we all are talented at what we do, in our own ways. I hope you all can realize where I'm coming from with my opinions and comments, and I hope you can all also forgive me.

Thanks,

macrobaye

EVERYTHING gets pushed off the Newest Additions panel, not just new walls.

Yes...Pleeeeeeese bring back moderation. Can't you just turn back the WC clock a few months

Not only the walls are being pushed back but all the other 'Skinning' items also. Look at the top 50 Newest Additions...20 are Wallpapers

I hope you guys haven't made a final decision on this yet. Besides...Look at all that extra bandwidth you will save on

P.S. You can forward all the 'Hate' mail to me Just please bring back the 'Higher Standards' that once was

Next week's poll: More or less moderation of wallpapers.

I'd prefer next week's poll to be doing away with wall altogether
on Aug 04, 2003
well I re-uploaded it. its called Futuristic Ice Age, and much to my dismay, it received a 4 rating (an unusual and kind of odd change from the 8 it orinally got before. And that 8 lasted 4 hours!)

Hum. I guess it went thru moderation.

I never saw it go through the que... don't think I would've given it an 8 though.

What rating are you talking about in your comment on the wall? where do you see that?

Next week's poll: More or less moderation of wallpapers.

That should be an interesting poll indeed.

After we just got granted Apprentice by BoXXI we are kinda timid about rating something yet...even though we know it really helps when more people rate and makes it a fairer place for all...

Guess we'll wait out what Frogboy implements into the system first.

You can have my vote now, return to more moderation.

For my own part, I would hesitate to call for removal of the wall section altogether in as much as I don't do walls myself (that would be a little self-serving in some respects) and I don't know what kind of a windows customization site can reasonably call itself such without one. But I do know this, this site used to have only the best walls, I doubt that can be said now. I also think moderation helped some artists to improve.

Somewhere along the line I missed the crystallizing moment when it was decided that moderation was going to be reduced. What I did notice was the sudden flood of walls (10 of the 20 Newest Additions are walls). If it taught me anything it was that the moderators worked very hard to spare us a whole lot of wading. If that was the point, congratulations, you made it. Unfortunately for me, I don't remember complaining about it.

P.S. At one point or another we were all moderated, with a few notable and deserved exceptions, why should things be any different now?
on Aug 04, 2003
well i'm not imaging it, it went through before, and mysteriously disappeared. and I don't think I would have given it an 8 either, but I would rate it higher than a 4.

BTW, how many moderators/admins are there?
